Green Grape

"Green Grape", the hue, is just on the Green side of Yellow. It is the colour of certain ripe fruits and in darker tones of brown algae.

As this hue is so close to Yellow, the restriction of which tones were available for painters with pigments of the time is much the same as for Yellow. ie only after the invention of Cadmium Yellow in the early 19th century were the bright colours possible.
