Horsehead

I added this one to the graffiti covering David Hall rest area on the Barkly Highway, 90km east of Camooweal, where we had lunch the day before it rained. Someone else had written a 4 line poem on the barge board there and left the last line off to see whether others could finish it. This inspired me to do the same but their results were poor so I just left off the last word of mine (Camooweal) and made it impossible to miss...

This is not based on any actual person or event. It was simply what popped into my head at the time.

There once was a man with a head like a horse,
and a brain like an old meat pie without sauce.
He took with him everything he could steal,
and left Mt Isa for Camooweal.
