I wouldn't yet consider myself a film-buff, a cinemaholic or an expert on movies. Yes, I have seen my fair share of movies over the years, but probably no more than average. I'm not yet one of those people that have seen every famous movie ever made, although I am taking a greater interest in this medium of late and covering more of the bases as the months go by.

Since I tend to come to cinema from a literature background, my discussions tend to be related to matters of plot, screenplay, acting, pacing and believability. For me a movie is a book manifested onto the screen.

As is the case in my Literature reviews, my cinema reviews are for people to consider AFTER they have seen the movie. For this reason I again offer the following warning:
